Our hotel is a member of the Stay For The Planet programme developed by LifeGate, a programme recognised by GSTC (Global Sustainable Tourism Councill).
It is a programme designed to monitor the environmental and social performance of all hotels and our hotel scored 4 out of 5 leaves.
Each of our 125 rooms is equipped with an automatic temperature control system to provide a comfortable temperature at all times and to avoid waste due to excessive heating or air conditioning. We replaced incandescent bulbs with LED lights. A photovoltaic system has been installed on the roof of our facility, which allows us to make considerable savings in terms of the energy produced and therefore a considerable amount less pollutants in the air. We have also recently installed a new air-conditioning system with ‘heat recovery’ for hot water production.
Water coolers with both still and sparkling water are always available for our customers.
They are located on the ground floor in the swimming pool corridor, on the second floor and at the Residence entrance door.
All our taps are equipped with a water-saving flow system. Irrigation of the large outdoor garden is carried out through well water extracted from underground and appropriately channelled into the irrigation system.
In our car park you can use two stations to conveniently recharge your electric, full hybrid or plug-in vehicle.
By offering its guests the possibility to use the electric car charging station, Hotel Best Western Modena District takes another step towards energy sustainability.
The charging station is equipped with a fast charging socket for almost all types of electric vehicles and has a power output of up to 22 kW. The supply is available for a fee, only to hotel guests.

The Best Western Modena District Hotel has chosen to install FREE water dispensers in order to be able to offer a non-preserved, safe and punctually controlled product available to customers at all times: high quality still, sparkling and chilled water.
