SMALL STEPS TOWARD ENVIROMENTAL SUSTAINABILITY

Both during the recent restoration and now with the hotel running, suggestions and actions have been identified with the goal of the improvement of sustainability performance also for the next years, in addition to virtuous behaviours adopted in defence of the environment .
Also Best Western Modena District is aimed with greater consciousness in relation to the planet and to the awareness of the choices of our customers.

ENERGY:

Each of our 125 rooms is equipped with an automatic temperature adjustment system always offering a comfortable temperature and avoiding the waste of heating and air conditioning. We replaced the old incandescent light bulbs with new led lights. On the roof of our structure it was installed a photovoltaic system that allows a considerable saving in terms of produced energy and therefore a less quantity of pollutants in the air.

WATER:

All our taps have a water saving system dispensing flow. The large outdoor garden irrigation is done through well water extracted from the subsoil and appropriately channelled into the irrigation system.
TV and furniture:
All our old cathode-ray TVs were replaced by flat screen TVs or lcd led 32 "and 42" low emission and energy consumption. Paints for the recent renovation are all water based and do not contain contaminating agents.
